License Renewal Requirements
The Plumbing Contractors Association is a recognized Continuing Education Sponsor for both the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) (Provider #0000987) and Miami-Dade County (Provider D020).
Contractors and Journeymen are required to renew their licenses every two years and must submit proof of completing a minimum of:

14 HRS
Required CE for CILB License Renewal (Every 2 Years)

16 HRS
Required CE for Miami-Dade County License Renewal
Renewal Deadlines
- CILB licenses must be renewed by August 31st of even-numbered years
- Miami-Dade licenses must be renewed by September 30th of odd-numbered years
Course Offerings & Scheduling
PCA offers continuing education credit hours throughout the year during:
- Monthly General Membership Meetings
- Evening and weekend classes
- Specially scheduled CEU sessions
All courses are taught by CILB and Miami-Dade County approved instructors and are designed to accommodate working professionals with flexible schedules. Each registration includes handout materials and a Certificate of Completion upon successful course completion. Pricing varies per session.
