License Renewal Requirements
The Plumbing Contractors Association is a recognized Continuing Education Sponsor for both the CILB (Provider #0000987) and Miami-Dade County (D020). Every 2 years, Contractors and Journeymen must renew their license and submit proof of having completed a minimum of 14 hours for the CILB or 16 hours for Miami-Dade County of Continuing Education. CILB contractors must renew their licenses by August 31st, of each even numbered year and Miami-Dade licensees must renew their licenses by September 30th, of odd numbered years. The Plumbing Contractors Association offers continuing education credit hours at their monthly General Membership meetings, evening classes and at various times during the year, evening and weekend classes. This classes are taught by a CILB and Miami-Dade County approved instructors.
In addition, we also offer evening and weekend classes to fit your schedule. Price varies. Each registration includes handout materials and Certificate of Completion once successfully completed.
In addition to being able to earn continuing education credit hours, the Plumbing Contractors Association can also assist you in answering most questions regarding your license or assist you in obtaining your answer from the CILB or Miami-Dade Count
Renewal Deadlines
